People often ask me, why is a cruise a better vacation than an all-inclusive holiday, for example. While I admit, the allure of an all-inclusive, is that it really is, almost all-inclusive. You pay for your ticket one time, and you do not have to worry about your airplane fare, your food and drinks, entertainment, even alcoholic beverages as they are all included.

As we bring in the new year, it’s important to remember from where we came but also where we are going. 2007 introduced us to the new potential leaders in this country–one of whom spent his adolescence attending Punahou School.
This will certainly be a year of monumental change for each of us in one way or another and as we embark on this new year we need to inform ourselves of what kind of change we want.
Here are the links to the front-runners for the 2008 Presidency. I hope you take some time to browse their views on important issues and decide for yourself who can serve you best.
Hillary Clinton
John Edwards
Rudy Giuliani
Mike Huckabee
John McCain
Barack Obama

This year will be a very good year to book a Caribbean cruise. Firstly, the rates for these cruises, especially from January 1 thru June 1, are roughly 30% lower than they were for 2007. Even though the cruise lines have added a $5 per person fuel surcharge for all sailings after February 1, 2008, the lower cruise fares more than offset this new tax. The reason for these lower fares ranges from a recessionary economy, the housing market jitters and general uncertainty about the strength of the economy in general. This is the perfect time to snatch up that perfect cruise that was out of reach price-wise for a lot of you who couldn’t afford to go last year.
